December SDA Plan

For my December SDA, I plan to do the "Infograph-it" from the SDA Menu. I chose this assignment because I feel that the content and concepts I wish to discuss might be quite dense. For this reason, I think that a flat-out written assignment will be lacking in appeal. Along with this, a written assignment would also be too similar to my last SDA which was "The Scholar". In this assignment, I decided to use images that I found to be incredibly helpful in my explanation of various concepts and ideas. On top of this, it allowed readers to visualize the various processes that I described in my paper. With this assignment, I want to create a product that explains my research from this month with a visual aid. The bulk of my research and reading for this month was centered around seeing how other groups and people have approached the problem of recognizing spoken names. This means that, in order to represent my cumulative research, I have to discuss both my approach and other approaches that I have encountered in my reading. An infographic should allow me to get the large amount of information that I have gathered across using both text and visual aid to make it all easily understandable.
